This is a small family-run hotel, and everyone working there legitimately cares about you enjoying your stay in Florence. The owner, Violeta, speaks 5 languages and is very high-energy, despite her long hours and decades of work in the hotel industry. She is readily available each day from about 7am to 11pm to bend over backwards for you. The hotel is only 1 train stop from smn - about 10 minutes and ~1 Euro each way, and the trains run every 20 minutes. We booked at the last minute, and got a spacious room with a ceiling fan, private bathroom, and beautiful balcony. The prices were very affordable and there is a supermarket and delicious pizza place nearby. Next time we are in Florence, we will be back!
Over 21 days, we have stayed in 7 different accommodations through Rome, Venice, Florence, Paris, and Iceland. The level of service, cleanliness, spaciousness, and "charm" of this hotel was surpassed by none. It was the greatest value that we have experienced across Europe, and Florence is notorious for its rising prices. I have no complaints about this hotel.

It is easy to find and to go, near the center (4min by train, ticket price 1.20 go&return) and the neighbour is quite. The hotel is very descent and the people of the hotel were extremely friendly, giving us a lot of information about the city, restaurants, public washing machines etc...After all, I would go again there, if I was in florence. (Many greetings from Greece to Violeta!)

Close to train station to Florence downtown and free public parking under hotel. Receptionist was very helpful and helped with reservation for Uffizi galery. And there was a fridge :)
Rather low standard of room, shower to close to toilet - water was falling dawn on it and there was no shelf or hook to put there E.G. towel

First off the owners of the Cinzia were delightful, helpful, and informative. The location was very close to the train station (within ~4 blocks) which gave excellent cheap access to the central portion of the city while also positioning you closely to cheaper food options not available in the central part of the city. The rooms were clean, large and airy with the bathrooms being very clean as well. The only surprises I had were positive ones with free petite breakfasts for each person in our group of three prepared for us and the sheer number of languages the owner could speak. For the price, and even without the good price, I would highly recommend the Cinzia. I would stay there again if I came to Florence.

Really cheap, close to transport (5 min train ride to centre of Florence) and staff were helpful. Clean and tidy. Free parking was very handy. Good for budget travellers with a vehicle.
Room was exceptionally hot - no aircon, breakfast was not worth 5 euro - not fresh food. No food or water/drinks in bar fridge. No internet unless you use the reception PC. You get what you pay for.

I liked the fact that this was a smaller hotel and that it was family run. The owners of this hotel were so friendly and welcoming!! While in Florence we had car trouble and the owner of hotel was so kind enough to correspond for us with the garage/mechanic. She really went out of her way to help us out. Also this hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and is in walking distance of the bus stop and train station. Its just a short bus or train ride to downtown Florence. Very much enjoyed our stay. We felt like we where visiting family!
It is good to know that this is only a small hotel with limited services.

The room had a cozy and retro style, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. - the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and the city center.
The noise levels in the morning were quite loud, making it difficult to sleep in and relax. There was no kettle or mugs in the room, which made it inconvenient for making tea or coffee during the day.
